Such as the one where you have to endure 2 hours of Juliette Binoche staring at blue crystals?
I don't see the point. Films are made to entertain not to bore you to sleep. Even that one with the two chicks having pretty much explicit sex bored me.
8 minutes, 10 max. I thought she was trying to make disappear with her mind. That would have been a much better film.
Only the ones between two women? If I'm watching some kind of, i don't know, 'profound' film, I don't want to be surprised by sudden intimate sex. There are much better ways of showing intimacy than naked bodies rubbing against one another.
Sure, art, but you probably wouldn't want them moving.
Why did you watch an art film if you aren't interested in art films? Shouldn't you have asked what movie you were going to watch before agreeing that way you could've backed out if it wasn't something you were going to be interested in? I guess there could be something to learn from such films, but I don't think I've ever seen one to confidently have an opinion. I could try to watch one, but maybe not the one you were discussing with Yukimura-san...
Some people may look one way, but are actually quite different, so maybe the person thought it may be something you enjoy. Though, if they knew you well, they would have known better. And if so, they might have been messing with you, which I don't think is very nice unless it ended in a surprise. Then I think it's marginally acceptable. And neither, though the crystal one could be interesting, but the one with two women makes me slightly uncomfortable and I'm not sure I would be able to watch objectively.
That's why people i don't know annoy me. It was a super lame. I actually thing she wanted to bored me so we did something else.
Considering the amount of times they go at each other, I think that was the point of the film to begin with. The story was lame and the boobs were small.
That seems counterproductive. If she wanted to do something else, why not just say "I want to do something else," instead of making you both watch a film neither of you were interested in? If she lacks the common sense to think of that, I'm not sure I'd want to see her again. I don't really appreciate that sort of runaround...
(ooc: he doesn't know how to respond to the explanation of the movie so he's just going to pass)
I don't know. You will have to ask her. Some people have an issue with getting their point across. Unfortunately, I see her way to often as we work together.
